Work With The Best!
In 1985, Mr. Bart Richey and Ms. Donna Holstein saw a need for safe, clean water in the central valley. With a total of three employees, they started their business under the name of B & D Quality Water as an affiliate of RainSoft Water Treatment.
With a passion for providing excellent customer service to their clients, they soon became one of the Nation’s top 10 dealers.
As a home services business, we strive to provide top quality, state of the art products for our customers. Our business expanded to offer water filters, air purification units, tankless water heaters, whole house standby generators and solar energy options.
For over thirty years, our business has operated on the simple principle of “do unto others as you would have them do unto you.”
As a second generation, family-owned and operated business, we are deeply invested providing our customers with environmentally responsible products that can improve their quality of life.
Today, with 3 locations and over 150 employees working under the name of Quality Home Services, our business is thriving. Donna’s children, Joe, and Jill have taken over the roles of President and Vice President and look forward to carrying on their family’s legacy as the business continues to grow.

What is the purpose of water softener and water conditioning systems?
By installing a water softener and conditioning system, you are able to remove magnesium and calcium for your water supply. These two components can be harmful to your household, including plumbing and appliances that use water. The systems we offer soften, condition, and filter your water.
What to expect after my system is installed.
Most water treatment equipment installed by Quality Home Services comes with a 1-year free service policy. Should a concern arise during the first year, please call us to schedule a check up at no charge. After the first year, systems should be serviced annually. We remind customers via email, text and mailers.
What is hard water made of?
Two common minerals give water its hardness, calcium and magnesium.
What are the effects of hard water?
Due to hard water being made of calcium or magnesium, as it dries, a residue of these components may be left behind on surfaces. This is what soap scum is in your tub, spots on dishes or countertops, and also crusty build up in your pipes and water using appliances. Other items that may be affected are a rough feeling on washed clothes and white residue on bathroom fixtures.
